I've been toying with the idea of moving this blog to another host. Something still free, but with more features than what I have available now.
Anyone want to offer up their experiences on other hosts? The good, the bad and the ugly would be appreciated.

Wordpress is alright, especially if you want to protect some of your posts, and it's free.
I still like typepad more than the other two runners-up: blogger and wordpress. The downside is that it's not free, but relatively inexpensive (less than $60/year).
Love love LOVE the wordpress. Password protection for sensitive posts, categories, really easy interface, catching of commenter's email addresses, instant template changes... it's lovely.
They also have a built-in blog-surfer to help you keep up with other wordpress blogs that you've marked, and there's a "my comments" tab that lets you keep track of wordpress blogs that you've commented on so you can follow the conversation. LOVE THOSE TOOLS.
The only bad thing about it is that you have to pay if you want to really customize your space, and it doesn't support JAVA. Other than that it's pretty much perfect. And free.
What's wrong with blogger? I've tried others and now I'm moving my original website over to blogger.
