Rain, Rain Go Away!

The days blur together in a fog of grey clouds and raindrops.

The sun make fleeting appearances and brings with it hope that is quickly blown away.

It feels as though we've had nothing but rain for weeks on end.

The grass is in desperate need of mowing.

My tomato and pepper plants are floundering and are precariously close to drowning. They are on the verge of giving up the fight.

We need some sunshine and light. I hope it comes soon.

So far, we've only lost my lettuce plants to the rain (and cold!) but it's tough to get anything to grow when it's only 60 degrees here!

My God... us too. All the way in NJ and I swear the ark is going to float by soon. If we don't get some sun soon I might go completely cabin fever crazy.

We were just talking about this at work today. The weather has been so weird this year. I mean, it's the middle of June, and we've been lucky to have had maybe a week's worth of nice, warm weather....hopefully it turns around soon.

My cucumbers lost the good fight, I think my tomatoes are soon behind, but so far at least, I think the lettuce might pull it out and the beans are making a strong comeback! One can only hope I'll at least get some vegetables out of my first attempt here :)

We kept getting huge rain, then H-O-T weather, one extreme or the other
