Sometimes when life seems to be at its lowest point it's really easy to focus 100% on the negative and overlook the good. We take the amazing things we do have for granted. But when I sit back and take a minute I can see that even with the dark clouds in my life, I really am blessed.
The next time that it seems like nothing is going right and life isn't fair, I'll try to remember the things that I do have...after all, "the rain keeps the flowers from dying"...
- An amazing husband and 7 unforgettable years.
- My mom, who supports me 110% and taught me to be strong.
- Wonderful sisters who I've been proud to watch grow up.
- My dad, who has taught me how to stand up for myself.
- My dogs, who love me unconditionally.
- More friends than I can even begin to name.
- Kristin, her colon and her beautiful baby girl.
- Kristen who truly understands my quirks.
- Samara who I can disagree with and make up quickly.
- Jenn who could blackmail easily but never would.
- Unwavering support from the numerous friends.
- An incredible education.
- Tenacity and perseverance to put myself through school.
- A challenging job.
- Management who have been extremely flexible.
- A roof over my head.
- More than enough food to eat.
- Money to pay the bills.
- Vehicles that run well.
- A safe neighborhood to live in.
- Beautiful mountains out my front window.
- My health.
- Access to good healthcare.
- The freedoms I have as a US citizen.
- People who devote their lives to allow me those freedoms.
- Time spent in Nepal.
- Ability to take time to travel.
- A husband with a sense of humor.
- Family values instilled by my parents.
- The time that I have had as a mom.

I take it as a good sign that you list "a challenging job" as one of the things you're thankful for!!
The way I look at it, a challenging job is better than one where I sit on my butt all day, never having to use my brain! Just remind me I said that the next time I'm so frustrate.... ;)
Leave it to you to get me thinking deeply on a regular basis. I love you for that!!
